The festival consists of four phases
Phase 1: Ad Reads (Open until end of June): Writers submit 1-minute ad reads for fake products/events. Voice Actors can use these for commercial demo reels.
Phase 2: Scripts (Open until end of July): Writers select ad reads and create 5–10 minute "spooky" scripts about the product or event "going wrong". Scripts should be around a PG-13 content level and use only 1–2 actors.
All submissions for every step will go through this site
Phase 3: Performances (Open until end of August): Voice Actors submit their edited, single-take performances of the scripts in MP3 format. Multiple performances can be given per role to ensure each character is represented.
Phase 4: Edits (Open until Halloween): Sound Designers create full edits of the performances. Submissions must be in MP3 format, and sound designers should use the site to "call dibs" on a script and complete edits for every performance of that script.
